Santa Ana street closures and permitted events for August 8 to 14

Here are the locations of upcoming permitted events and road closures in Santa Ana so you may plan accordingly. Please drive slowly and safely in construction zones and around crowded events. If a weather event occurs on the anticipated start date, the street closures for construction activity will be delayed until the weather clears.

Thursday, August 8

  • Memorial Park
    • Parks and Rec Concerts in the Park; Event Hours: 6-8:30 p.m.

Saturday, August 10 

  • Closure at Minter Street between 4th and 5th streets 
    • Event Hours: 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • Closure on Susan Street between MacArthur Blvd. and Lake Center Drive
    • Event Hours: 5-8 p.m.
  • Plaza Calle Cuatro
    • Witches Brew Night Market; Event Hours: 5-10 p.m.

Sunday, August 11

  • Centennial Park
    • Parks and Rec Chicano Heritage Festival; Event Hours: 2-7 p.m.

Thursday, August 8 to August 9

Monday, August 12 to August 30

  • Northbound lane closure on Mortimer Street between 4th and 5th streets and full closure on 5th Street between Mortimer Street and Minter Street for OC Streetcar construction.
    • 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday

Through August 31

  • Lane reductions in both directions on Bristol Street at Alton Avenue for construction
    • 9 a.m.-4 p.m. each day

Through September 30
