Probation check in Orange leads to a big drug bust and the arrest of two suspects

Detectives in the Special Investigations Unit hit a home run with a big drug bust, according to the Orange Police Department.

During a probation compliance check the officers located:

  • $19,963 cash
  • 174g Marijuana
  • 52 g Mushrooms
  • 72 Norcos (drugs that contain hydrocodone and another substance, such as acetaminophen or aspirin)
  • 1026 Adderall/Fetty pills
  • 2845 M30/Fetty pills
  • 6g Ketamine
  • 40g Meth
  • 1 Gun

Two adults were arrrested and booked at the Orange County jail.

Violating probation can result in jail time, fines, or additional probationary requirements. The severity of the punishment depends on the type of violation and the offender’s criminal history.

Possible consequences:

  • Jail time: You may be sentenced to jail time for the remainder of your sentence or for a specific amount of time.
  • Fines: You may be required to pay a fine as part of your punishment.
  • Additional probationary requirements: You may be required to comply with additional conditions, such as attending counseling or treatment programs, or completing community service.
  • Probation revocation: Your probation may be revoked, which means you may be sent to jail.
