On Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at approximately 11:30 p.m., Laguna Hills patrol deputies responded to a welfare check call. Deputies made entry and located a deceased male inside the residence. Based on preliminary information, this case is being investigated as a homicide.

Henry Nunez Godinez is a person of interest in this case. Mr. Godinez and the victim were roommates and co-workers. The identity of the victim is pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.

Mr. Godinez is Nicaraguan and may be traveling to Nicaragua via Mexico. Please contact Inv. Justin Montano with any information regarding Mr. Godinez or his whereabouts.
