An abandoned home in Santa Ana caught fire on Sunday morning

Just before 7 a.m. on Sunday morning, firefighters in Santa Ana quickly extinguished a basement fire in an abandoned home, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.

The OCFA fire crews also performed a rapid search of the building to ensure no one was inside.

Their first priority was conducting a quick search while simultaneously extinguishing the fire.

If such a search yields no victims, they call it a “primary all clear.”

The OCFA did not indicate the exact address of this fire.
