A driver crashed into a tree in Fountain Valley

Police officers recently responded to a traffic collision in front of an elementary school, according to the Fountain Valley Police Department.

Thankfully, there were no serious injuries and no students were involved.

However a silver 4-door vehicle was wrecked as it collided with a tree. It also appeared that the tree sheared either a fire hydrant or a lawn sprinkler as pictures posted by the FVPD included a water geyser.

The FVPD asks that we please let this serve as a reminder to drive cautiously, especially in school zones! Slow down. Stay alert. We all share the responsibility of keeping our roadways and our children safe.
