On March 13, 2019, at approximately 6:45 a.m., Orange Police Officers responded to the apartment complex at 700 E. Lake reference gunshots heard in the area.

Upon their arrival, officers located a female adult who had been shot multiple times with a shotgun.

Orange Fire and Rescue transported the victim to a local hospital in serious but stable condition.

The suspect has been identified as Patrick Allen French (5/07/85) and is the victim’s ex-boyfriend. French fled the scene in a rented silver Ford Explorer (8HWE087) with the weapon. French is considered armed and dangerous. If located call 911 immediately.
