The Tustin hangar fire is still slowly burning while Orange County Fire Authority closely monitor the situation to ensure that it remains in its current footprint. Residences and businesses in the surrounding area will continue to see smoke and debris for a period of time – if there is an emergency call 911.

Residents and businesses should close their doors and windows and turn off their A/C units to avoid the odor of smoke.

If you have any information, saw anything suspicious, or have exterior video surveillance cameras in the surrounding area, please call the joint tip line at 949-560-0665 or email ArsonTips@ocfa.org. The Tustin Police Department appreciates the community’s assistance in this matter, as any information received is important.

Valencia Avenue remains closed between Landsdowne Avenue and Kensington Park. There have been no reported injuries or damages to nearby residences or businesses. OCFA and TPD personnel will remain on-site throughout the night and into tomorrow.

  1. I was using this model of the blip hangar as model for my lab. I am really sorry about this fire. Very heartbreaking. History burning down is never good. Space and time curved laboratories.
