The SAPD will provide law enforcement in some County-owned properties including flood channels

The SAPD is responsible for general law enforcement within the boundaries of Santa Ana. However some County-owned and maintained properties, including flood channels do lie within the boundaries of the City of Santa Ana.

If you observe a crime in progress, including tagging, robbery, theft, assaults, indecent exposure, drug sales or consumption, etc., call the Santa Ana Police Department at 911 or for non-emergencies you may call dispatch at 714-245-8049.

If you see an illegal encampment, graffiti, trash, debris, damaged fencing or gates, please contact Orange County Public Works at 714-955-0200 or go to https://myoceservices.ocgov.com/.

The SAPD will accept responsibility over County-owned bike trails, flood control channels, retention basins, and river channels. The SAPD will enforce general laws, ordinances and regulations including those of the City and the County, within the County-Owned properties.
