The Santa Ana City Council will vote on rent control and police oversight at Tuesday’s meeting

The Santa Ana City Council will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 5, at 5:45 p.m. Closed session begins at 4 p.m.

The agenda includes:

• adoption of a Rent Stabilization Ordinance and Just Cause Eviction Ordinance
• adoption of the City Council ward redistricting timeline during a public hearing at 7 p.m.
• and the creation of a police oversight ad hoc committee.
