The Irvine Police are trying to identify a woman who tried to steal a cart full of merch from a Target store

The Irvine Police Department is looking for a female suspect who tried to leave Target on Jamboree with a shopping cart full of merchandise.

When she was confronted by security, the suspect abandoned the cart and left the location in a white VW Jetta, which sells for about $23-24K.

The woman has long black hair and was wearing a white halter top and white pants at the time of the crime. She was glued to her cell phone during the crime.
