For two weeks, starting on Monday, 6/15/20 through Friday, 7/3/20, the intersection of Civic Center Drive and Minter Street will be completely closed to thru traffic for the “Civic Center Bike Boulevard” project. This closure is required for the construction of the new traffic circle and roadway surface. The project will help enhance pedestrian and bicyclist’s safety, and should reduce excessive speeds along Civic Center Drive.
Traffic westbound on Civic Center Drive will be detoured to northbound Lacy Street to westbound Vance Street to southbound French Street. Eastbound traffic will be detoured to northbound French Street to eastbound Vance Street to southbound Lacy Street. Please see “Closed Intersection Map” for details.
Please avoid the area if possible during this time, follow detour signs and expect some delays. Access to businesses and residential properties will be maintained at all times.
