Irvine-firefighters responded after 6 p.m. today to the 19500 block of Jamboree Road for a fire in a commercial building.
A second alarm was requested.
Northbound Jamboree was closed to through traffic from MacArthur to Birch.
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters also responded after 5 p.m. to the 13200 block of Brookhurst St. in Garden Grove for a fire in a vacant building.
That vacant building appears to have once been a Marie Callender’s restaurant.
No injuries were reported and no cause has been determined.
Brookhurst was shut down in both directions from Trask to Garden Grove Bl.
