OCFA firefighters were joined by fire crews from the City of Anaheim and the City of Orange this morning as a fire broke out at a high-rise residential building at the 800 blk of N. Main St. in Santa Ana at 11:12 a.m.

Smoke was reported in the upper floors. The source was determined to be a washing machine malfunction.

Robust high-rise responses assure that the OCFA is prepared for the potential complexity of such incidents.
