A heartless thief has ruined the lives of several customers of a Public Storage facility in Santa Ana. That company has at least three Santa Ana locations but the SAPD has not identified which one the thief targeted.

The victims included Jennifer Taylor, who launched her Dreambox Beauty line of skincare products and tools in 2019. She said 75 percent of her inventory was taken from her storage container.

Taylor had been hoping to sell those products in order to get the money to make more products.

Taylor has a GoFundMe page set up to help her business to recover from this awful loss.

Cynthia Gores‘ storage unit had been hit on Wednesday. She has been storing her family’s belongings at the facility since the father of her children passed away on Feb 15. 2021.

Gores said she’s been living in a shelter and was hoping to move into a new place soon.

The thief stole stole most of her children’s valuables, and furnishing items that were being stored as they were in the process of moving but were waiting for their new home to be ready for move in. The storage unit had their entire home in it.

Over 5,000 dollars worth of home items were stolen, the kids deceased fathers items that were of sentimental value to my granddaughter, including unopened christmas gifts, brand new kitchen appliances waiting to be used at their new home. A police report has been filed and while the investigation is still ongoing the items are gone and there will be no reimbursement for any of the possessions she lost as she did not have insurance.

Both victims told the SAPD that Public Storage employees told them that the burglary suspect may have been a former renter who had access to the facility.
