Fountain Valley Police Department officers responded to a welfare check of a subject causing a disturbance at a local gas station, kicking a wall and screaming at people.

A DRE (Drug Recognition Expert) evaluation revealed the subject was under the influence of narcotics.

The police officers located two grams of fentanyl after searching the subject and his property.

The suspect was arrested for narcotics violations and several outstanding warrants, and booked into the Orange County Jail.
