On Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 2:48 a.m., Santa Ana Police officers responded to the 800 south block of Minnie Street regarding reports of a male shot.

Officers located an adult male unresponsive along the east sidewalk with apparent gunshot wounds to his upper torso.

Orange County Fire Authority arrived on scene and pronounced the subject deceased at 3:02 a.m. SAPD Homicide Detectives responded and assumed the investigation.

Detectives are attempting to identify and locate any witnesses who can shed light on this incident.

The incident occurred in a residential neighborhood that abuts a light industrial corridor on the eastern edge of the Cornerstone Village Neighborhood.
