The OC Health Care Agency has released a list of the eateries (including restaurants, caterers and even school kitchens) that they inspected and shut down for the week of Aug. 24 to 31, 2018. Most of these eateries reopen pretty quickly after the health inspectors determine their issues have been resolved. Here is the list:
- Velvet Lounge, 416 W. Fourth St., Santa Ana, Closed: Aug. 30, Reason: Rodent infestation
- Restaurant & Bar Las Gueritas, 230 W. Warner Ave., Suite 107, Santa Ana, Closed: Aug. 29, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Aug. 30
- Fancy Cake Bakery & Restaurant, 12273 Westminster Ave., Suite B, Santa Ana, Closed: Aug. 28, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Aug. 29
