Based on community complaints of an illegal business operating in the 2000 Block of South Ritchey, SAPD Special Investigations-Vice and Narcotics Detectives were investigating the complaints. They were able to obtain search warrants for two separate buildings.

On Thursday, April 23, 2020, SAPD detectives served the search warrants and located a sophisticated marijuana grow facility.

The SAPD detectives seized 1,370 pounds of marijuana, 2,523 plants, 660 clones, seized grow equipment and $1,060 in U.S Currency.

The SAPD detectives also made two arrests for illegal cultivation.

The SAPD Vice/Narcotics continue to address community complaints to safeguard our community.
