On Friday night, 7/8, at about 9:45 p.m., Anaheim patrol officers responded to the 1100 block of N. Acacia Street regarding reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival officers located a 17-year-old male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The unidentified suspect(s) fled the scene prior to officer arrival.

The victim was transported to the hospital and taken into surgery, but unfortunately was declared deceased just before 11 p.m.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene to take over the investigation.
Homicide detectives believe the victim was not a gang member, and completely innocent of any wrong doing. The suspects however, are believed to be gang members.
