Fake maintenance worker steals a watch from an Irvine apartment complex

On August 28, a man entered the Regents Point retirement community posing as a maintenance worker, according to the Irvine Police Department.

The man is suspected of entering multiple apartments, claiming to be inspecting ventilation.

One resident reported that a $5,000 watch was missing from her apartment.

The man appears to be Hispanic. He was wearing blue jeans and a yellow reflective safety vest. He had a blue short sleeved t-shirt on as well. He also appeared to have a moustache.
