On Thursday night, the Irvine Police Department’s Spectrum team made a traffic stop on a car with three people inside.

The driver was carrying a magnetic tool strong enough to make “Magneto” jealous. Magnets are often used to defeat retail security devices.

A passenger had a no-bail warrant and narcotics. The second passenger had narcotics.

And surprise, surprise, the police officers found a variety of property stolen from retail stores.

All three suspects were arrested and booked at Orange County Jail for their efforts.

The Spectrum police officers are like magnets to criminals!
