On 12/18/2024, at 930pm, a police officer was patrolling in the area of Goldenwest St and Garden Grove Boulevard when they noticed a vehicle with an unreadable license plate, according to the Westminster Police Department.
The police officer conducted a traffic stop and contacted the driver. While contacting the driver WPD Officers saw drug paraphernalia in plain view.
A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed over 4 ounces of methamphetamine, and other items indicative of drug sales. The driver was booked at OCJ for various felony charges.
On 12/19/2024, at 1100am, another WPD police officer was patrolling in the area of Newland Street and Westminster Boulevard, when they noticed a vehicle with expired registration.
The officer attempted to stop the vehicle when the occupants suddenly parked in a driveway of a residence and walked away. Both subjects were detained without incident.
WPD police officers located drug paraphernalia in plain view of the vehicle and conducted a search. Upon searching the vehicle 22 grams of methamphatemine, 19 Xanax pills, $600 in cash, and other items indicative of drug sales were located. The passenger admitted the items belonged to them and was booked at OCJ for drug sales.
On 12/20/2024, at 2am, WPD police detectives conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Hazard Avenue and Bushard Street. WPD Detectives contacted a passenger in the vehicle. A records check of the passenger later revealed they were on Post Release Community Supervisions (PRCS) and Probation, and had two felony warrants for drug sales. The passenger was arrest and a search was conducted. Upon searching the passenger over 7 ounces of fentanyl, and 4 grams of methamphetamine were discovered.
The subject was arrested and booked at OCJ for his warrants and drug sales.
