At approximately 1 a.m. on Sunday morning a Westminster police officer attempted to stop a motorcycle in the area of Brookhurst and McFadden for California Vehicle Code (CVC) violations.
The rider failed to yield and a pursuit was initiated, going through different cities eventually ending in North Tustin.
A search of the suspect revealed approximately 1.5 oz. of fentanyl and 23 grams of meth. The rider was arrested for felony evading and possession of narcotics/drug sales.
The OC Sheriff provided air support via their Duke 1 helicopter during the pursuit.
