FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Non-Profit Creating Unity in the Community this Thanksgiving
TUSTIN, November 16, 2015 – In just a few weeks, hundreds of people from across Orange County, Los Angeles county, and some as far as San Diego county will unite in the city of Tustin to enjoy one of the city’s most anticipated yearly events.
With Thanksgiving right around the corner, preparations are in place for Operation Warm Wishes’ “7th Annual Unity in the Community Thanksgiving Spectacular.” The free yearly event which runs from 12 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day at Peppertree Park at 230 W. First St. in Tustin is expected to draw participants and volunteers from across Southern California.
The event features a FREE 3-course Thanksgiving dinner, with all the trimmings, for all members of the community. However, this year, Operation Warm Wishes is taking the event to the next level.
Attendees will be able to enjoy an unlimited dessert bar & beverage bar, a LEGO kids tent, live music, a live broadcast of the football game on a large projector screen, and a wide array of amenities including free massages, haircuts, clothing, dental check-ups, doggy grooming, and more!
Jackson, president and founder of the charity organization Operation Warm Wishes, said that while he loves being charitable on a regular basis, the Thanksgiving Spectacular event is something he looks forward to all year because of the joy it brings to people of all ages and backgrounds.
“Thanksgiving is a time to be with family, to remember the year that has passed and to be thankful for what we have been given,” Jackson said. “Thanksgiving is also a time to remember those less fortunate, the needy, the forgotten and the homeless.”
This year’s 7th Annual Thanksgiving Spectacular at Peppertree Park will be open to all members of the community. No one will be turned away. To assist the organization in planning, please RSVP on Operation Warm Wishes’ Facebook page at www.facebook.com/operationwarmwishes, select the Thanksgiving event, and click “Going”.
