About 50 Trumpers attended a rally in support of indicted former President Donald Trump at the Huntington Beach Pier yesterday that quickly turned violent as skateboarders showed up to tussle with the Trumpers.
At least two people were injured and one was arrested during the skirmish, which was reported to the Huntington Beach Police at about 12:30 p.m. Saturday
Nick Taurus, a Trumper, posted a video on Instagram that showed the aftermath of getting hit with a skateboard. Taurus had a bloody bandage on his forehead which he lifted during his video to show the wound.
Daniel Salvador Angulo Serrano was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon that was not a firearm.
The demonstrators carried U.S. and MAGA (Make America Great Again) flags, chanted “God bless Trump!” and proclaimed Huntington Beach to be “MAGA Country.” The skateboarders disagreed with that notion!
The rally came two days after a grand jury in New York voted to indict Trump, who is accused of paying off a porn star, Stormy Daniels, during his 2016 presidential bid as he tried to keep their affair out of the headlines during his campaign. His then-attorney, Michael Cohen, served prison time for the crime but also ratted out Trump.
Trump and his attorneys have of course denied any wrongdoing in the case. Trump is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in New York. He has raised over $4M from gullible Trumpers since his indictment was announced.
