This week’s Cochino List includes Yuvraj Indian Kitchen and El Picante

The O.C. Health Care Agency has released a list of the eateries (including restaurants, caterers and even school kitchens) that they inspected and shut down for the week of  Oct. 29 to Nov. 6. Most of these eateries reopen pretty quickly after the health inspectors determine their issues have been resolved.

  • The Filling Station, 201 N. Glassell St., Orange, Closed: Nov. 2, Reason: Employee restrooms nonfunctional
  • Popeyes, 1061 N. State College Blvd., Suite D, Anaheim, Closed: Nov. 4, Reason: Rodent infestation
  • Koi, 600 Pacific Coast Highway, Seal Beach, Closed: Nov. 4, Reason: Cockroach infestation
  • Baja Sharkeez, 114 McFadden Place, Newport Beach, Closed: Nov. 4, Reason: Fire suppression discharge in facility, Reopened: Nov. 5
  • Eddie V’s Wildfish, 1370 Bison Ave., Newport Beach, Closed: Nov. 4, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Nov. 5

  • Water N Juice, 130 N. Bradford Ave., Placentia, Closed: Oct. 29, Reason: Plumbing in disrepair, Reopened: Oct. 30
  • Pho 10, 21210 Beach Blvd., Huntington Beach, Closed: Oct. 29, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: Oct. 30
  • Nalu’s Island Grill, 27000 Alicia Parkway, Suite C, Laguna Niguel, Closed: Oct. 29, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Nov. 2
  • Mariscos Nayarit at 135 W. Ball Road, Suite D, Anaheim, which was ordered closed Oct. 29 because of a cockroach infestation, was allowed to reopen Nov. 3.
