The Tustin Police are searching for a hit and run driver who struck a pedestrian

On 03/17/23 at approximately 11:00 p.m., a vehicle was involved in a hit and run traffic collision near the intersection of Camilia Ave and Laviana St. (in the Columbus Grove Homes). The occupants of the vehicle were believed to have attended a high school party in the area, prior to the collision.

The suspect vehicle was seen driving erratically in the area and shooting other party-goers with a “SplatRball” gun (an electric gel ball projectile).

The vehicle eventually collided with a pedestrian near the intersection. The suspect vehicle was last seen driving eastbound on Laviana St.

  • Suspect Vehicle: 2012 – 2019 Silver or Gray (possibly metallic green) 4 Door Kia Soul; Last seen in the area of the Columbus Grove Homes (Harvard Ave – between Warner Ave & Moffett Dr.). At the time of the collision, the vehicle was believed to be occupied by four male juveniles.
  • Suspect: Male, approximately 15 – 18 years old, believed to attend high school in the Orange County area.
