The SAUSD is working with Lions Clubs from Santa Ana, Tustin and Orange, as well as California Lions Friends In Sight, which will provide free vision screenings, essential equipment, and an inventory of thousands of sets of recycled eyeglasses to those in need.
About 300-500 people are expected to attend. Services will be given on a first-come, first-served basis; participants are encouraged to arrive early.
Free diabetes screening and information on avoiding or managing diabetes will also be available that day, sponsored by local Leo Clubs – high school students who are affiliated with local Lions Clubs.
