The Santa Ana Library is hosting a fun Children’s and Book Day event this Saturday

The City of Santa Ana is hosting their 11th Annual Children’s Day/Book Day library event on Saturday, April 20, 2019, from 10:30 a.m. — 2:00 p.m., to celebrates children, families, literature, and cultures.

This free event will include:

  • Entertainment
  • Book Sale
  • Meet and Greet Children’s Book Authors
  • Resource Fair
  • Trackless Train Rides
  • Miss Kitty’s History Corner
  • Electric Animal Rides
  • Do it Yourself Terrariums

Meet Children’s Book authors Laura Knight, who wrote Kid Astronaut: Space Adventure, at 11:50 a.m. and Sarah Hernandez, who wrote Incredibles 2: Babysitting Mode, at 12:50 p.m. Scott Sussman, who wrote Silly the Seed, will also be available.

Also on hand, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m, will be Clifford the Big, Red Dog, and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. meet Superman!

The event will be held at the Santa Ana Main Library, located at 26 Civic Center Plaza, in Santa Ana. Call (714) 647-5258 for more info.
