The Orange County Labor Federation endorses Alderete for Ward 3

The Orange County Labor Federation Believes Eric M. Alderete Is The Best Choice For Santa Ana City Council – Ward 3

Santa Ana, California – Eric M. Alderete’s campaign for Santa Ana City Council received a major vote of confidence from the Orange County Labor Federation with its recent endorsement of Alderete’s candidacy for the Santa Ana City Council – Ward 3.

The Orange County Labor Federation represents more than 200,000 working men and women and believes Alderete is the best and most capable candidate to honor working families.

“We are incredibly proud the have the support of the Federation” said Alderete. “Our message of fighting for working families, preserving public safety, improving the business climate and increasing transparency in the city is clearly resonating. We will continue to run a strong campaign so that we can assure victory in November.”

Alderete’s campaign received early endorsements from Senator Lou Correa, Assembly Member Jose Solorio, Santa Ana Councilpersons Sal Tinajero, Vince Sarmiento and Michele Martinez, Rancho Santiago Community College District Trustees Larry Labrado, John Hanna, Mark McLoughlin, the Executive Board of the Faculty Association of the Rancho Santiago Community College District and community leaders throughout Santa Ana. A strong advocate for economic development, public safety and education, Alderete is the Chairman of the Santa Ana Planning Commission and serves on the Board of Directors of the Santa Ana College Foundation. There, he has helped sustain the college’s Veterans Resource Center which provides academic counseling and guidance to military veteran students. Alderete holds a Bachelor of Arts and law degrees from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He works as Vice President of a major Southern California company.
