The MainPlace Mall is hosting a free Art Walk event on Sep. 9

The MainPlace Mall in Santa Ana invites the community to enjoy a fun and interactive Art Walk event on Saturday, September 9th, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. “Every child is an artist. The problem is staying an artist when you grow up.” – Pablo Picasso. Come find your inner artist at MainPlace during our Art Walk event!

The event will feature hands-on workshops in Center Court and in front of The Children’s Place where guests can paint a monarch butterfly painting or a zipper pouch. In addition, all visitors are encouraged to look for live painters located in Center Court, Macy’s Court and JCPenney Court in front of the Art Gallery; live face painters located in front of The Children’s Place; live music and rumba flamenco dance classes located in Macy’s Court; and a live interactive art demonstration in the Food Court.

This is a family-friendly event! And while you’re here, check out our Art Gallery, Galería of Imagination located on the lower level across from Boudin SF.

Each of these events and activities is free and open to the public; no pre-registration is required. During each monthly event, MyPerks loyalty program members are invited to drop by the MyPerks Lounge for a free hands-on craft activity to make mini canvas purses and banners (while supplies last).

Not a MyPerks member? No problem. Joining the program is free and easy; for details, visit the MainPlace Mall MyPerks page on the center’s website here. To learn more, click here.
