The OC Fair Opens With “One Big Party” Starting This Friday
Featuring 23 Days of Food, Music, Fun and All Things Fair July 17-August 16
Costa Mesa, Calif. (July 13, 2015) – The 2015 OC Fair’s 125th Celebration starts this Friday (July 17) and will continue through Sunday, August 16 (Wednesday-Sunday) with the theme One Big Party. The 23-day event will feature food, music, carnival rides, exhibits and family fun. Visit ocfair.com for the full list of events.
The celebration starts out with a bang with a full hour of free admission and parking for the first Fairgoers to join the party on Friday, July 17 from Noon-1 p.m. as part of the Free Opening Hour promotion. The Fair is open Fridays from Noon-Midnight and features every Friday:
- $2 Taste of Fair Food: Get a taste of Fair food for only $2 a sample from Noon-4 p.m.
Seniors Day: Guests 60 and older are only $5 and receive free Ferris wheel and merry-go-round rides all day. - $2 Rides & $2 Games: Every ride and every game in both the adult carnival and children’s carnival is only $2 each until 4 p.m.

Throughout the 2015 OC Fair (July 17-August 16), Fairgoers can also enjoy:
- Fairenheit 32°: Ice skating and free Ice Museum opening daily in the new Plaza Pacifica area. Ice skating is an additional fee that includes skate rentals and an hour of skating on actual ice. Guests are not permitted to bring their own skates.
Military Get in Free: Free admission every day for active U.S. military and veterans with appropriate I.D. - Children 5 & under: Free admission every day for the littlest Fairgoers ages 5 and younger.
- Read & Ride Program: Children (ages 5-11) who read at least two books and submit a completed OC Fair Read & Ride Book Report Form (available online at ocfair.com/readandride) will receive three free carnival rides.
- Free Exhibits and Events: Free community entertainment all day, culinary displays in the OC Promenade, Comedy Hypnotist Mark Yuzuik, Sand Artist Joe Castillo, Dragon Knights, All-Alaskan Racing Pigs, Russell Brothers Family Fun Circus, educational exhibits and contests children in Explorium, garden exhibits in the Centennial Farm and more.
