Community Advisory: SCE Planned Outage Notification: September 2, 2013 – September 8, 2013
SANTA ANA, CA (September 3, 2013) – SCE announces it will soon be performing maintenance on the electrical system in the area. In order to perform this work safely, SCE must temporarily interrupt electric service and turn off power. This outage will allow them to upgrade aging infrastructure, make needed improvements, and complete other repairs. SCE realizes this temporary service interruption may cause some inconvenience, and they appreciate your understanding as they work to increase system reliability for the future.

You're information, yet again, is incorrect.
If you look at the actual post, which is a press release from the City of Santa Ana, they note in their headline that the power outages are supposed to start on Sep. 2, however the outages themselves appear to start on Sep. 4.
If this post is in error your beef is with the City of Santa Ana's PIO, not with us.
