Well, you couldn't expect them (SAPOA) to back "soft on crime" Amezcua.
Her FACEBOOK posts are exclusively about letting criminals get diplomas and not jail sentences. If my Dad was the head lawyer for the Mexican Mafia street gang, I'd probobly say the same thing. But, Ihave never had my Father befriend MASS MURDERERS, like she.
Dear Carpetbagger. Your comments gave me grave concern as I was thinking of voting for Cecilia. I checked out Cecilia's FACEBOOK page to see what you were talking about and didn't find ANYTHING related to her supporting criminals. What's going on? Why are you making things up that are not true? All you are doing is confusing the issues. When you mention your Dad, I am lead to believe you are talking about Alfredo Amezcua. Is that your father? If so, I know from personal experience the type of people he defends and supports. May I suggest that in the future you focus your comments on the real issues affecting our children instead of using negative tactics that only fog the issues.
Anonymous,
Please re-read my comment. I specifically mention Valerie Amezcua in the first sentence.
It is well known that Ms. Amezcua is a solid supporter of the Health Happens Here project "schools not prisons". In fact, she has tied her campaign to that issue almost EXCLUSIVELY.
You need to slow down and concentrate and comprehend my words. I was not speaking of my Father, but of her's, who is in fact a well known criminal defense attorney with close ties to organized crime. Which is perhaps why she favors letting criminals go free and educated them as opposed to punishment, the standard in society dating back centuries. Maybe the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
I did not choose to make FREEING criminals an issue, the campaign did. I believe MANDATORY parental involvement and self imposed reading and writing standards along with reduced social/societal involvement. But, I just get to vote once so I won't be wasting it.
From your reading comprehension abilities I can assume you are a product of SAUSD.
