Santa Ana man who sexually assaulted two little girls will spend the rest of his life in prison

Hector Rojas Medina, 47, will serve 75 years to life in prison for sexually assaulting two girls related to his live-in girlfriend in Santa Ana.

Medina was convicted in February of last year on felony charges including two counts of lewd acts with a minor younger than 14 and two counts of sexual intercourse with a child 10 years or younger.

Medina’s victims were only 9 and 12 years old. A teacher was told about the abuse by one of the girls in September of 2017.

At the time of the assaults Medina was living with his girlfriend in a converted garage. The girlfriend was taking care of the victims because their parents sent them to the U.S. so they could escape gang violence in Mexico.

Unfortunately the girls ended up living with a sexual predator. Medina will now pay for his crimes with what is left of his life as he is unlikely to live longer than his sentence.
