Santa Ana is under curfew tonight, June 22, at 10 p.m.

A curfew is in effect in Santa Ana beginning at 10 p.m. tonight, June 22, 2020, until 5 a.m. Tuesday, June 23.

The executive order by City Manager Kristine Ridge, acting as director of emergency services, is in response to possible civil unrest resulting from protests tonight. The City of Santa Ana supports the public’s right to peaceably assemble and protest outside of the curfew hours. The Santa Ana Police Department will be actively monitoring the situation to maintain public safety.

During the curfew, all persons must not travel on any public street or public place, except for certain allowed purposes that include seeking emergency care, fleeing danger and traveling to and from employment and religious services. All law enforcement, fire and medical personnel, other personnel authorized by the Santa Ana Police Department, and members of the media are exempt.

Instructions:

During the curfew from 10 p.m. June 22 to 5 a.m. June 23, all persons must not travel on any public street or public place, except for certain allowed purposes.

Santa Ana Está Bajo Toque de Queda Esta Noche 22 de Junio a las 10 p.m.

Un toque de queda va a estar en efecto en Santa Ana desde las 10 p.m. de esta noche 22 de junio a las 5 a.m. del martes 23 de junio.

La orden ejecutiva de la gerente municipal, Kristine Ridge, actuando como directora de servicios de emergencia, es en respuesta a posibles disturbios civiles durante protestas esta noche. La Ciudad de Santa Ana apoya el derecho del público a reunirse pacíficamente y protestar fuera del horario de toque de queda. El Departamento de Policía de Santa Ana estará monitoreando activamente la situación para mantener la seguridad pública.

Durante el toque de queda, todas las personas no deben viajar en ninguna calle pública o lugar público, excepto para ciertos fines permitidos que incluyen buscar atención de emergencia, huir del peligro y viajar hacia y desde el empleo y los servicios religiosos. Todo el personal policial, de bomberos y médico, y otro personal autorizado por el Departamento de Policía de Santa Ana, y los miembros de los medios de comunicación están exentos.
