Santa Ana curfew ordered for Saturday, June 6

A curfew will be in effect in Santa Ana on Saturday, June 6, beginning at 10 p.m. and ending at 5 a.m. on Sunday, June 7, by order of City Manager Kristine Ridge acting as director of emergency services.

During the curfew, all persons must not travel on any public street or public place, except for certain allowed purposes that include seeking emergency care, fleeing danger and traveling to and from employment and religious services. All law enforcement, fire and medical personnel, as well as other personnel authorized by the Santa Ana Police Department, are also exempt.

The City of Santa Ana supports the public’s right to peaceably assemble and protest outside of the curfew hours.

Se Ordena Toque de Queda en Santa Ana el Sábado 6 de Junio

Un toque de queda va a estar en efecto en Santa Ana el sábado 6 de junio, a partir de las 10 p.m. a las 5 a.m. del domingo 7 de junio, bajo una orden de la gerente municipal, Kristine Ridge, actuando como directora de servicios de emergencia.

Durante el toque de queda, todas las personas no deben viajar en ninguna calle pública o lugar público, excepto para ciertos fines permitidos que incluyen buscar atención de emergencia, huir del peligro y viajar hacia y desde el empleo y los servicios religiosos. Todo el personal policial, de bomberos y médico, así como otro personal autorizado por el Departamento de Policía de Santa Ana y miembros acreditados de los servicios, también están exentos.

La Ciudad de Santa Ana apoya el derecho del público a reunirse pacíficamente y protestar fuera del horario de toque de queda.
