ORANGE COUNTY’S LEADING NATIONAL HISPANIC BUSINESS WOMEN ASSOCIATION NO COST MEMBERSHIPS FOR INDIVIDUALS AND STUDENTS

(Santa Ana, CA) December 1, 2012 — The National Hispanic Business Women Association (NHBWA), the leading Hispanic business women association, is pleased to announce the availability of individual and student level yearly memberships at no cost. Effective January 1, 2013, this membership access is made possible by our sponsors and supporters.

Membership Levels

Individual – No cost effective January 1, 2013

  • Available to small business owners, individuals, professionals or entrepreneurs. It includes:
  1. One non-transferable contact
  2. Subscription to event notices
  3. Some discounts on NHBWA or affiliate activities

Students – No cost effective January 1, 2013

  • Available to all students.  It includes:
  1. One non-transferable contact
  2. Subscription to event notices
  3. Some discounts on NHBWA or affiliate activities

Organizational Membership – $300.00 Annually

  • Open to organizations that support education, arts and the objectives of the National Hispanic Business Women Association.  It includes:
  1. Up to five representatives of the organization.
  2. Access to executive suite with wireless internet and conference room at NHBWA
  3. Subscription to all NHBWA and affiliate notices
  4. Listing on printed materials and on-line member directory
  5. Some discounts on NHBWA or affiliate activities

Corporate Member – $1,000.00 Annually

  • Available to any business or corporation. It includes:
  1. One main contact and four employees or representatives
  2. Access to executive suite with wireless internet and conference room at NHBWA
  3. Subscription to all NHBWA and affiliate notices
  4. Listing on printed materials and on-line member directory
  5. Some discounts on NHBWA or affiliate activities

About NHBWA

The National Hispanic Business Women Association (NHBWA) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization established in Orange County, California in 1997. The mission of the organization is to encourage women to develop their business and professional endeavors by promoting business growth through education, mutual support, the sharing of information, business referrals and networking.

Since its inception, the NHBWA has awarded 108 educational scholarships to deserving students. This achievement has been possible thanks to the support of our members, corporate sponsors and donors.

Our Editor, Art Pedroza, worked at the O.C. Register and the OC Weekly and studied journalism at CSUF and UCI. He has lived in Santa Ana for over 30 years and has served on several city and county commissions. When he is not writing or editing Pedroza specializes in risk control and occupational safety. He also teaches part time at Cerritos College and CSUF. Pedroza has an MBA from Keller University.
