The City of Santa Ana’s 2022-2024 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Public Service Application is now available for qualified nonprofit organizations. The application window will close on Monday, December 20, 2021, at 5 p.m.
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program is a flexible program that provides communities with resources to address a wide range of unique community development needs. The program provides annual grants on a formula basis to entitled cities and counties, which then award grants to local nonprofits to develop viable urban communities by providing decent housing and a suitable living environment, and by expanding economic opportunities, principally for low- to moderate-income persons.
