Subject: Updates on On-going Homicide Investigation

On June 12, 2014 at 10:51 am, the body of Zoraida Reyes was discovered in the parking lot of a Dairy Queen in the 200 block of N. State College Blvd. Reyes, 29 of Santa Ana, was an active member of several Orange County transgender and immigrant rights advocacy groups and her death prompted concern. Katella Ave. Parkerson, 38 of Anaheim, was booked at the Anaheim Police Department Temporary Detention Facility for murder and he is being held on 1 million dollars bail. • Not a hate crime? Seriously?
It was a crime of passion that's for sure.
They sure as heck did not claim it was an accident or "man slaughter" did they?
He was either involved with her or just met her and had a unique surprising revelation.
Why do they not tell us any details?

      • Two months ago, they claimed "cause of death unknown"
        Seriously?
And they still don't announce a cause of death or murder? Even though they have the alleged murderer.
        Something is fishy here.

          • Well I just searched the 4 articles on OC Weekly about this story including the one from today by Matt Coker. None of them say anything about known cause of death or cause of murder death. Does this bother anybody out there? Hello LGBT community? Do you exist?

  • Seriously? Between the dog and pony distraction at Santa Ana City Hall and mysterious "murder" of transgender activist I fully expect another Malaysian Airliner to drop out of the sky and crash right into Editor as he is smoking a roach while on his park santiago toilet.
