  • The so called "compassionate conservatives" under Bush admin provided $1.1 TRILLION in DIRECT subsidies & about $18 TRILLION in INDIRECT subsidies, in a matter of months, to wealthy financial institutions with NOTHING in return, and with no requirement to lend to struggling American homeowners and businesses, and MQ wants to attack $1.7 MILLION to help improve technology and education for our kids...and she calls them "nut case ilberals" . . . what a twisted ideology!

  • I agree, Bush was a complete idiot as far as education is concerned. With social issue's he was a complete liberal. The No child left behind act was and is a disaster. With the hugh influx of illegal immigrants their children have become a title 1 money maker!

Keep them stupid should be the new theme song for public schools!

The more money public education gets the fatter the unions and amin becomes!

Just look at the QEIA disaster... What a bloody scam that is! 4 BILLION to title one schools already fat with cash and noting for it!

  • I am a conservative who is compassionate only when compassion is appropriate!

Liberal compassion is like a bullet in the head!
