Country singer Steven Cade will give guitars to the homeless and perform for them in Santa Ana

Can music help the homeless in Orange County to get back on their feet? Steven Cade, a Nashville-based modern country artist thinks so – and he has put that sentiment into action. He is currently partnered with Brent Yates and Gravity of Up to raise awareness of the importance of music by donating guitars to inspire those in need.

Cade also started the Giving Guitars Tour. During the “Giving Guitars Tour” he visits shelters across the country that offer transitional housing and other services to homeless families. Taylor Guitars is one of the newest sponsors to come on board. He is currently touring the US, and will be visiting the HomeAid Orange County Family CareCenter in Santa Ana, on March 3rd, 2023 at 3 p.m.

Cade is the 2022 Josie Award Winner for Best Male Modern Country Artist, a 9-time Grammy Contender, and was inducted into the California Music Hall of Fame last month.

Cade tours the facilities he performs at, interacts with the residents, donate guitars, and does a live mini concert.

“Music changes lives and the guitar is such a powerful tool. Music is healing and allows people to express their stories and brings joy,” says Cade.

His songs all have clean lyrics and he strives as a songwriter to inspire people.

Cade embarked on this journey in October of 2021 and has visited homeless shelters in 14 states and donated over 100 Taylor guitars so far.

Cade’s long-term goal is to reach shelters nationally with guitar and monetary donations, as well as organizing a large amphitheater-type of ‘Giving Guitars Concert’ in each state to raise exposure, funding and awareness for the homeless.
