Updated: Bruce Bauer nominated to the Santa Ana Planning Commission

Update: The Santa Ana City Council voted tonight to approve the appointment of Bruce T. Bauer to the Santa Ana Planning Commission.  We know he will do a great job!

Good news for Santa Ana’s bike trail enthusiasts.  Bruce T. Bauer, an attorney and a leading proponent of completing the Santiago Creek Bike Trail, has been nominated to the Santa Ana Planning Commission by Council Member Angie Amezcua. His nomination will be voted on by the Santa Ana City Council at tonight’s Council meeting.

Amezcua’s previous appointee to the Planning Commission, Joel Crespo, resigned to take a job with a law firm up north, from what I have heard.

Bauer is a 1990 graduate of Loyola Law School, where he externed for United  States Bankruptcy Judge, Alan Ahart, and a 1987 graduate of California State  University, Long Beach where he graduated with honors. Mr. Bauer has been  licensed in California since 1990 and has been representing financial  institutions since 1992. He served as a frequent speaker, trainer, and panelist  for the Bankers’ Compliance Group in which he delivered statewide seminar  presentations on topics such as negotiable instruments, employment,  collections, and banking related operational issues. He successfully conducted  numerous federal and state bench and jury trials. Mr. Bauer’s practice areas  include civil litigation representing mortgage services and financial  institutions involved in commercial operations litigation, according to his law firm’s website.

This is a great appointment by Amezcua.  The city’s website shows that she currently has other Commission vacancies, including spots on the Parks and Recreation Board, and the Youth Commission.  If you live in Ward 3, which Amezcua represents, click here to find out how to apply to join one of these City Commissions.

  • I was so so Sad to see former Councilmember Lutz speak tonight. He along with the Maniac Zeke, shows why Mike Tardif/Junior/Skallewag or what ever he calls himself should be given sympathy.

These men are ill, like Rob Richardson. They are OLD, SICK, DEASEASED OLD MEN.

Heaven (or Hell in Rob Richardson's Case) holds a special place for you.
