A K-9 police dog assisted Santa Ana police department investigators last night during a search of a convicted felon’s residence. The police were able to find and seize eight firearms, 10,000+ rounds of ammo & body armor according to an SAPD Tweet.
The case will be submitted to the OCDA for prosecution as convicted felons are not allowed to own guns and ammo.
The K-9 dog is named Aslan. He is trained to detect firearms.
The convicted felon was not identified.
