Yesterday, police officers from the Orange Police Department’s Crime Reduction Unit stopped a car for vehicle code violations in the area of Main Street and Palmyra.
Fortunately, police officer Osborn and his K9 partner “Wyatt” backed the officers up.
Wyatt alerted to contraband in the vehicle and the officers conducted a search.
The officers confiscated a stolen rifle, an unregistered handgun, narcotics, and over 480 rounds of ammunition.
Thanks to the teamwork of the Crime Reduction Unit and K9 Wyatt, the suspect was booked at the Orange County Jail and the streets of Orange are safer.
