WESTMINSTER, Calif. – On Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 5:28 AM, police officers responded to a man down in the westbound #1 lane of Bolsa Avenue, east of Brookhurst Street, according to the Westminster Police Department.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male laying in the street with injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.
The Orange County Fire Authority responded and pronounced the subject deceased on scene. The involved driver remained at the scene of the collision and is cooperating with the investigation. Impairment did not appear to be a factor with the driver.
Members of Westminster Police Department’s Traffic Division were called to the scene and are handling the investigation.
