A man suspected of robbing and shooting two men and trying to carjack another was arrested in Garden Grove

Garden Grove police arrested a suspect early Saturday morning, Nov. 17, just before 2:30 a.m., who allegedly shot two men during a robbery, according to the O.C. Register.

The incident happened at the area of Harbor Boulevard and Buaro Street. Garden Grove police officers who responded to the scene after getting calls about gunshots. 

The responding police officers found that two men had been shot and wounded, one in the neck and the other in the chest, during a robbery. They both survived and were hospitalized. They remain in stable condition.

Not long afterwards the Garden Grove police received yet another phone call, this time from another victim who reported that a man armed with a rifle had tried to carjack his vehicle at Harbor Boulevard and Garden Grove Boulevard.

The Garden Grove police officers who responded to that call found a man who matched the description of the suspect. They identified him as the suspect and arrested him.

The responding police officers also found a rifle and stolen property from the robbery, near the scene of the arrest.

The name of the suspect has not been released due to the ongoing investigation.

The Garden Grove Police Department is requesting that anyone with information about the two incidents please call their Detective Bureau at 714-741-5800.
