2nd annual Civil War Days set for Oct. 17-18 at the O.C. Heritage Museum

HERITAGE MUSEUM CREATES TWO DAYS OF LIVING HISTORY AT 2nd ANNUAL CIVIL WAR DAYS ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17 AND SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18, 10 A.M.

The Orange County Heritage Museum will host its 2nd Annual Civil War Days on Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18, 2015, 10 a.m. each day. Civil War Days is an event that will bring to life one of the most important and pivotal time periods of United States History.

Civil War Days will be fun for both young and old! Guests will be able to interact with Union and Confederate Troops encamped at the museum for the weekend. The troops will provide firing demonstrations for visitors, an artillery weapons display, and a civilian camp, and children’s crafts and activities. The Cottonwood String Band will provide entertainment while teaching Civil War dance lessons to guests. Stop and enjoy our Blacksmiths working the iron forges and take a walk through our 4 acres of natural area. This family filled event will be a great interactive, hands-on, and educational experience for all!

Admission is $5 per day or $8 for a weekend pass.

WHEN: Saturday, October 17, 2015, 10 a.m. -5 p.m. and Sunday, October 18, 2015, 10 a.m. -5 p.m.
