Young Latina disappears after partying late in Irvine

SPECIAL BULLETIN: MISSING PERSON / ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY

  • NAME: ALONSO, Erica Melissa – 3/26/87
  • DESCRIPTION: Female, Hispanic, 5’3”, 110 lbs., long Brown hair, brown eyes
  • CLOTHING: Unknown
  • VEHICLE: 2014 Honda Civic EX, white, 4-door, CA License #7FSS563
  • LAST CONTACT: Sunday, February 15 @ 4:00 a.m.

On February 14, 2014, Ms. Erica Alonso and a date met friends at the Sutra Lounge in the city of Costa Mesa where she spent the evening until approximately 1:30 A.M. While at the club, Erica and her date befriended another couple who offered them a ride in a red, Toyota Scion FRS to continue the night’s activities at her date’s home near Culver Drive and Deerfield Avenue in the city of Irvine.

At approximately 3:45 a.m., the couple left the residence, and approximately 10 to 15 minutes later, Erica also left the residence. Erica and her vehicle (see vehicle info above) have not been seen or heard from since.

Anyone with any information regarding Ms. Alonso’s whereabouts or who can identify the couple in the red Scion FRS is asked to call the Orange County Sheriff’s Department at the numbers provided below.

Investigators are attempting to identify the couple who gave Ms. Alonso and her date a ride home. See attached bulletin for additional information and photos.
