Woman carjacked at the Santa Ana Civic Center by two teenage girls

As if our city didn’t have enough problems now we have to fear our teenage girls. Two of them, ages 14 and 15, stole a car from a 55-year-old woman in Santa Ana on Friday night, according to the O.C. Register.

The suspects asked the woman for a ride at around 5 p.m. in the Civic Center area according to the SAPD.

The woman had been feeding the homeless when the girls asked her for a ride. However when they arrived at what the woman thought was their destination the girls paid her back by pepper spraying her. The woman jumped out of the car the the girls sped off in her car.

Fortunately a good Samaritan who was nearby saw what happened and he followed the girls and called the police. The SAPD arrested the girls within that hour. Their identities were not released because they are minors.

The moral of the story? Don’t give anyone a ride in Santa Ana unless you can vouch for them.

  • Unfortunately, such girls may learn that some people do have concealed carry permits, and when they find themselves dead, they may reconsider their line of work.
